You might need the Windows Mobility Center on your regular desktop computer. For example, let’s assume that you are trying to access the Windows Presentation Settings quickly on a computer. Now, if you have the Windows Mobility Center enabled on your desktop computer, you can access the Presentation Settings easily. Similarly, this in-built panel contains other options that are equally important. Before getting started, it is recommended to backup Registry and create a System Restore Point.
Enable Windows Mobility Center on Windows 11/10 desktop computer
To enable the Windows Mobility Center on Windows 11/10 desktop computer, follow these steps- Read on to know the details. Open the Registry Editor. For that, you can press Win+R, type regedit, and hit the Enter button. After opening the Registry Editor on your computer, navigate to this following path- In the MobilePC folder, you need to create two keys. Right-click on the MobilePC folder, and select New > Key and give them the following names:
If either of them is already present in that MobilePC folder, you do not need to create them again. After creating those keys, select AdaptableSettings, right-click on the empty space on the right-hand side and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
You have to name it as SkipBatteryCheck. After creating, double-click on it, and set the value to 1, and save your change.
Now, go to the MobilityCenter, right-click on the empty space on your right-hand side, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. This time, you have to name it as RunOnDesktop and set the value to 1.
